Even with snow on the mountains fall is not yet over here in Durango, CO.  Silverton, Molas Pass, Lake City and Ouray are all a bit past their fall color peak but the Durango and Purgatory areas are at about 85% of their fall colors at the time.   Pagosa and Mancos still have some color as well.  Right now the trees that are turning colors are the aspens, cottonwoods, grasses and low scrub oak. 

There is still time to check out the beautiful fall colors in the Durango area before we're blanketed with snow!  Check out the last weekend of the Pumpkin Patch Express this Saturday or Sunday!  Or you might want to check out some of the other fun events happening in Durango this week and weekend and just take in the colors of Durango.  Whatever way you choose to spend your fall time in Durango we're happy to have you!!
