Fall Foliage Update

The fall colors in Durango and Purgatory are getting close to their peak.  The forest service is now reporting that the Durango/Purgatory area is at 85% peak color right now.  The colors this weekend might be peaking so if you have a chance, get out and enjoy those beautiful fall colors!  The below photos were sent to us from Mild 2 Wild and a jeep tour would be the perfect way to experience the beautiful changing colors!

Also, this weekend kicks off the Peanuts Pumpkin Patch Express train ride on the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.  This weekend and next you can ride the train to the pumpkin patch, meet Charlie Brown, Lucy, and Snoopy, and bring home the perfect pumpkin! Enjoy live musical entertainment, storytelling, a straw bale maze, games, bounce house, balloons, temporary tattoos and trick or treating! And kids, don't forget to wear your Halloween costumes!
