San Juan Brewfest
Head to downtown Durango this Saturday from 1-5 pm and experience what this area has to offer to beer lovers. CookManFood is once again teaming up with United Way of Southwest Colorado and Durango Mountain Resort for the 13th annual San Juan Brewfest, which will feature approximately 30 different craft breweries. Enjoy craft beers from around the region, live music featuring The Crags and the Lawn Chair Kings and enjoy Durango’s great downtown! Be sure to take advantage of the free transportation as well! You can ride the Durango Transit System to and from the event, to avoid the temptation of making that short drive home. Event tickets are $25, and participants receive a souvenir 5 oz. tasting mug and unlimited tastings of over 60 different beers. Or buy the VIP Tasting Ticket for $50 and attend the private Brewer’s Party at Steamworks, get early entry into the beer fest, complimentary food and premium seating. You can get tickets in advance at these local Durango businesses: W. J. Doyle Wine and Spirits, Steamworks Brewery, Ska Brewery and Carvers Brewing.
This is Durango’s only real beer festival! Southwest Colorado is quickly becoming the Napa Valley of beers. Come and meet these amazing brewers are and taste many of the best brews this region has to offer. Check out the San Juan Brewfest website to view all the participating breweries!
