Durango Wine Experience
Join us for the 5th Annual Durango Wine Experience May 5 - 7, 2011! The wine experience is three days of educational seminars, wine dinners and unique tastings. Hundreds of wineries, artisan spirits and craft beers will participate in the weekend events. The "Walk-About Durango" is the signature, multi-location, tasting event on Friday, where you will not only get a taste of wine but a taste of downtown Durango as well. Top local chefs and wineries from around the world will be featured at Grand Tasting on Saturday. Where Durango’s finest restaurants will also showcase their cuisine in our 2nd Annual Durango Restaurant Showcase.
We truly have the perfect environment for a wine event. Durango has multiple Wine Spectator acclaimed restaurants, over 50 licensed establishments, 600 Hotel Rooms, 200 galleries, boutiques & shops. Colorado is where I learnt to ski and has a warm place in my heart. I don't know how this wine event went but if it's anything like the teachers I had on the slopes of Copper Mountain, I am sure it was enjoyable and a great success!
