Here in Durango we accumulated about 2 inches of snow overnight and the forecast looks like it will be on and off flurrying all day long.  For those who haven't heard yet, Purgatory is now open 7 days a week and currently has 43 trails open and 4 lifts open.  If you're spending the Christmas season in Durango come up to Purg for the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Clause on their horse-drawn sleigh at 3 pm this Sunday, December 19.  Join in singing Christmas Carols and plenty of holiday cheer on Purgy's Beach!  Santa and Mrs. Clause will both be returning next Friday, Christmas Eve at 4 pm for more carols and fun before Santa's big night!
