Durango Cyclocross Race

Sunday, October 3 will mark the first annual Wells Bros. Cyclocross Race at Purgatory. Durango’s own Todd and Troy Wells designed and will host the event partnered with Purgatory.  Todd, a former Olympic mountain bike racer and two-time National Cyclocross Champion, will be hosting and racing in the event. All proceeds benefit Get Out! Durango, which provides multi-sport training support for young athletes. The 50-minute race begins with a mass start at 10 am, and riders can race in men’s or women’s A or B categories. The entry fee is $15 per person, and registration and event details are available online. To register, go to Active.com or call (970) 385-2131. Event-day registration will be available starting at 9 am.

We're hoping the fall foliage will be in full force for the event to make the ride that much more beautiful.  If you're looking for more things to do that weekend in Durango, or other wonderful ways to enjoy the foliage, make sure to check out our Fall Vacation Planner
